Dental Office Design: Downtown Toronto Welcomes Dr. Gina Lee

Congratulations to Gina Lee on the opening of Dentistry on University in the heart of downtown Toronto.  JoeArchitect had the pleasure to work with Dr. Lee on the design of her new 1,743 square foot, 4-chair general dental office located just a few steps off of University Avenue near Richmond Street W.  The doctor was looking for an understated elegance to welcome the professional community.  This was achieved through a neutral palate that includes walnut wood panels, lacquered cabinetry and warm accent lighting.  The design takes full advantage of the dramatic 14 foot height through a variety of ceiling elements.  The space lights up at night providing terrific exposure for the practice  to the thousands of cars and pedestrians passing by, as witnessed in the black & white photo below.
